We specialize in Elkhound training and problem correction. Elkhounds are clever, intelligent dogs, and if you are experiencing problems with your young dog, please feel free to write. We may be able to help you just by making a few suggestions. If your dog is frustrating you, we have a program of taking only one dog at a time and working with your pet to correct specific complaints while working on basic obedience at the same time. We prefer to take dogs that are between five and eighteen months of age because bad habits are most easily corrected when they dog is young. We also don' t have a "standard" program. Each dog is treated with individual attention, and each day is planned for your dog based on the previous day's accomplishments. Don't learn to live with a problem! Your Elkhound really does want to follow your lead, and we can show him, and you, how to accomplish that. |
